TracerTrak now supports KMZ Custom Map Layers. Customers operating in remote areas, where online mapping images may be out of date, can now overlay their own imagery in a suitably hosted KMZ file. This provides an ideal solution for users with in-house GIS systems that generate user data such as POIs. User defined "Customer Location" areas can also be used to report a company location name in place of an address. TracerTrak continues to provide better solutions for regional customers.

SPOT is now available with TracerTrak, providing a suite of Enterprise Gradesolutions for your remote Personnel Tracking and OH&S Monitoring needs.

TracerTrak provides 4 levels of in-field notifications, including SOS emergency distress, with separate user defined alert and escalation rules. Automated "sked" handling will escalate missed check ins only, so you can let TracerTrak do the monitoring. Keep working while TracerTrak keeps watch.

The TracerTrak team are in the process of completing an integration of the SPOT personal satellite messenger. It is expected that this device will be commercially available to customers in late 2009.  This integration will present to customers all the advantages of the SPOT product with all the fleet management and alerting capabilities of the TracerTrak application.

The TracerTrak web console application has been updated to include support of customer icon preferences.  Customers have a range of colour and icon choices for each asset in their fleet, allowing easy viewing and grouping of asset types.
